Increase in our international activities
The Campaign to save Kobra’s life
We have informed you of our activities in previous reports. In recent days we have tried to increase the international aspects of our campaign.
In continuing this campaign, we tried to reach international human rights bodies as much as we could. This includes representatives of Amnesty in different countries, official news Medias like publications and largely-circulated newspapers, and governments in Europe and
Nazanin Afshin-Jam, winner of this year’s human rights prize of United Nations, has continuously participated In “Save Kobra’s life” campaign. She has succeeded to inform the United Nations offices in
The letters of Kobra and her father has been translated by campaign activists to French and German and vast supports for the campaign have been declared in several European cities.
We have also connected several Medias and asked them to be present in front of United Nations office in
In addition, we have produced a few numbers of posters in Persian and English for campaign activists to use on Sunday. These posters can be found on the campaign blog and we request all of you to circulate them and to bring to the gathering in front of United Nations. Our effort has been put to keep the size of posters low and for them to be easily printable. We again ask all of you to particiapate in the gathering with friends and families.
