My name is Garry Sran from the University of Manitoba. I am writing in regards to the treatment and handling of Kobra Rahmanpour. I urge you office and government to respect her rights and treat her as a human being. I also urge your Government to stop practicing torture in prisons and respect International law.
Over the past few years, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his administration has violated many human rights. We urge your government to take action and restore the respect of Iran to the international community.
These cases, such as Kobra Rahmanpour, occur too often. This has lead to the erosion of respect for the Republic of Iran. I stand by many Canadaians and Students who beleive in Human Rights and the rights to a fair trial and treatment of a human being, no matter what the situation is.
